Free DSA workshop in Alice Springs

Tuesday 7 January, 2020

Dementia Support Australia (DSA) provides a free 24/7 service, offering borderless and culturally sensitive support from accredited clinical experts to carers of people living with dementia.

DSA and The Dementia Centre are pleased to host a rare opportunity to hear from Rev. Prof. John Swinton, visiting the Northern Territory from the UK, to share his internationally recognised insights.

DSA Head of Clinical Services Prof. Steve Macfarlane will also share on how compliance with new regulations requires a holistics interpretation of clinical care, with a focus on optimising health and wellbeing.

Session 1: The Unforseen Relationship: Psychiatric Medication and Spirituality with Rev. Prof. John Swinton
Session 2: Best Practice in Aged Care: From Pharmacology to Spirituality with DSA Head of Clinical Services, Prof. Steve Macfarlane
