Regional and Remote Support

Are you an aged care provider or health care service in a regional or remote area and would like Dementia Support Australia to spend time with you and your clients?

Dementia Support Australia is pleased to offer targeted remote outreach to services across Australia. This includes the ability to:

  1. Meet with local Service Providers, GPs, Residential Care – opportunities to network with services, determine their needs and discuss how DSA can support
  2. Provide capacity Building Sessions for carers in community & residential care – opportunities to provide capacity building sessions for carers to assist in improving knowledge/skills and build confidence in the area
  3. Undertake on the ground DSA Client Case Work – visiting clients as per DSA service both in community and residential setting
  4. Provide access to Professional Development  - opportunities for building knowledge in the sector for health professionals supporting people living with Dementia
  5. Understand the needs from the ground up  – opportunity to be present in the community, get to know the people in the community face to face and understand their needs and how DSA can support
